Get Crafty in the Kids Zone!
Here's what we had on in 2016
Get Hands on and creative in our Kids Area!
This year’s kids area, Sponsored by Rybrook BMW is going to be more fun than Santa’s workshop! The weekend will be full of creative activities coordinated by Sam Pooley-Stride formerly of the hugely popular Compost Kids Art School. She’s putting together a programme to keep little ones entertained and engaged for hours.
Bambino Bazaar will be on hand to help you paint brilliant pottery presents, we will be raising money with a Christmas wishing tree for Self Help Africa and Bloom art will be on hand with Musical Canvas Classes in their ’tent within a tent' studio.
They’ll also be Elves on hand in the workshop to help kids of all ages make a host of Free Christmas Goodies including tree decorations, cards, tags, reindeer food, lanterns and newspaper stars.
Toddlers will have fun trying to feed our cardboard reindeer with carrots. Expect glitter and festive fun with an eco-friendly twist. But if you prefer real animals then there will be a donkey, lambs and gorgeous Alpacas to see too… Possibly a reindeer or two!
Kids can also enjoy some festive storytelling, while those that prefer louder pursuits will love the guitar hero area with the Rock Project!
Baked for You will be running a Gingerbread decorating workshop at £1.00 a child. They can take home their creations, but we’re betting they won’t last till Christmas before being eaten.
There will be HUGE big top filled with more fun that you can imagine inside there will be the amazing chaos that is Professor Panic and his travelling band of circus helpers, as Panic Circus deliver a unique hands on circus workshop experience. You can learn how to spin plates, juggle, stilt walk and lots more.
There will also be the most amusing Punch and Judy show you will ever see. We're bringing you a little bit of sunshine cheer, to banish the Winter blues!
Adults will have plenty of opportunity to join in and help create really special memories with their children, there’s also with lots of workshops running on exhibitor’s stands including the chance to graffiti your own stocking bags and Christmas jumpers!
